I had a generally positive experience with Alyssa’s customer service at the VW dealership, but I was disappointed with how the tire insurance claim was handled. I brought in my Tiguan with a large screw in the left rear tire. When I purchased the vehicle, the dealership sold me the Drive Easy tire and rim insurance, promising that any tire or rim issues would be taken care of. Unfortunately, the process did not go as smoothly as advertised. On my first visit, I was told the repair could take over two hours (if approved) and was advised to make an appointment for the next day. On Day 2, Alyssa checked me in and explained the steps: the insurance company would need to be contacted and might require photos for approval on whether to repair or replace the tire. A short time later, Alyssa returned and informed me that the insurance approved only a repair — which the dealership does not perform in-house — and recommended taking the vehicle to Discount Tire. I ultimately went to a local tire shop instead, where they removed the screw in under 10 minutes for just $10. What should have been a quick fix turned into roughly 6 hours of my time across two days. I was also promised that while the tire was being handled, the dealership would perform a courtesy inspection (brakes, oil, fluids) along with a wash and vacuum, but none of that occurred since the car was never serviced. While I understand Alyssa was following the insurance process and can’t be blamed for the insurer’s decision, the overall experience fell short of the expectations set when the Drive Easy coverage was sold. It’s not the end of the world, but it was frustrating and inefficient for something so straightforward. I hope the dealership can work with the insurance provider to streamline these claims in the future so customers aren’t sent on a multi-stop journey for minor repairs.

I arrived without an appointment due to unexpected vehicle issues, and he was incredibly helpful from the moment I walked in. He thoroughly explained the repair needed, provided a realistic timeline for completion, and kept me informed with updates throughout the entire process. I especially appreciated that he also reviewed my vehicle’s maintenance schedule and let me know about additional services that were due. Rather than pressuring me, he honestly explained that I could either have the maintenance completed while my car was already there or safely wait another week or so. I truly appreciated his transparency and professionalism. Mr. Reggie is kind, knowledgeable, honest, and always willing to help. His exceptional customer service is the reason I continue to have confidence in bringing my vehicle to this dealership. The only area for improvement is the availability of loaner vehicles. It would make the service experience even more convenient if loaners were more consistently available.

Made an appointment for my oil change. It’s was very easy and pretty fast there lounge area is spacious. The video and breakdown to recommend services was detailed. And I didn’t feel very pushed or forced loved that the most. Total overall experience there was great. Thanks John!
